TN NIN Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification:
| 1. Junior Medical Officer: Essential: MBBS/AYUSH/BDS Degree from a recognized university and registration in the respective medical / AYUSH / Dental council and will to work in the field and be able to understand the local language. Desirable: Master’s in Public Health or Minimum one year of experience in field or Community studies. |
| 2. Senior Medical Officer: Essential: Graduate in Anthropology / Social Science / Sociology / Science (Biochemistry Microbiology) / Social Work from a recognized university with a minimum of two years of experience. Or Post Graduate degree in above-specified subjects will be considered as two years of experience and willingness to work in the field Desirable: Experience in drawing blood samples, and processing blood samples in field studies. |
| 3. SRF (Food and Nutrition): Essential: Master’s (M.Sc. / MPH) in Food & Nutrition, Home Science and willing to work in the field and able to understand local language. Desirable: One year conducting field or community studies (24-hour dietary recall data collection). |
| 4. SRF (Anthropology / Sociology / Social Work): Essential: Master’s (M.Sc. / M.A. / MSW) in Anthropology / Sociology / Social Science / Social Work from a recognized university and willing to work in the field and able to understand local language. Desirable: One year experience in conducting anthropometry, and mobile table-based data collection in field or community status. |
| 5. Project Assistant (Phlebotomist): Essential: Graduated in MLT from a recognized university Or DMLT with one year of relevant experience (blood sample collection) Or B.Sc. Nursing Or 2 years of nursing with one year of relevant experience (blood sample collection) And Willing to work in the field and able to understand local language. |

The date and place of Walk-in-Inteview will be conducted 28.11.2023 to 30.11.2023 between 9.30 am to 11.30 am at ICMR – National Institute of Epidemiology, R-127, Second Main Road, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Ayapakkam, Chennai – 600077. The candidates may download the application form from www.nis.res.in and submit the same duly filled in along with one set of photocopies of certificates and one latest photograph and all the Original Certificates for verification failing which their candidature cannot be considered for Interview.
