TIFR Recruitment Educational Qualification:-

According to the TIFR Recruitment Notification Academic Qualifications are as below;

1. Engineer (D) [Mechanical]:-

M.E./M.Tech. / equivalent with an aggregate of 60% marks from a recognized university/institute in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial and Production Engineering. (or)
PhD from a recognized university/institute in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering with experience in Modern machining technology & CAD/CAM/CAE.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a modern Machine Shop / Tool Room of a medium or large-scale manufacturing/production industry. Experience in Precision Machining using multi-axes CNC machines, CAD/CAM/CAE, GD&T, Engineering Materials, Welding, Manufacturing Process & Control, Jigs & Fixture designing and Quality Control (CMM etc.).

2. Engineer (C) [Electrical]:

Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech. with an aggregate of 60% marks) in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of three years of work experience in handling the following work:
i) Installation, Operation and Maintenance of large electrical installations having substations with HT and LT switch-gears, transformers, protective electrical systems, D.G.set, Control system, Lab wiring, etc.

3. Scientific Officer (C):

Bachelor’s degree in B.E./B.Tech (with an aggregate of 60% marks) in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field.

4. Scientific Officer (C):

B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science / Information Technology (with an aggregate of 60% marks) from a recognized university/institute.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field.

5. Administrative Officer [Vigilance]:

Graduate with an aggregate of 60% of marks with an NCC (C) certificate.
Proficiency in personal computers and their applications.
5 years of experience in Law/Vigilance/Security/Accounts in a large and reputed PSU/Industry Research Institution in level 7 or Level 8 or with equivalent TME.

6. Scientific Officer (B):
Master’s degree in Computer Science. (or)
B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science from a recognized university/institute with an aggregate of 60% marks. A minimum of 2 years of experience.
7. Administrative Assistant (B):
Graduate from a recognized university/institute with an aggregate of 55% marks.
Proficiency in word processing/database/accounting procedures.
5 years of experience in Accounts / Purchase / Stores / General Admin. / Establishment in a large and reputed organization.
Desirable: Expert knowledge of MS Office. The applicant should have knowledge of Government of India Rules related to establishments and service matters, especially recruitment. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
8. Administrative Assistant (B):
Graduate from a recognized university/institute with an aggregate of 55% marks.
Proficiency in word processing/database/accounting procedures.
5 years of experience in Accounts / Purchase / Stores / General Admin. / Establishment in a large and reputed organization.
Desirable: Graduates in Arts / Commerce / Science preferred.

9. Administrative Assistant (B).

Graduate from a recognized university/institute with an aggregate of 55% marks.
Proficiency in word processing/database/accounting procedures.
5 years of experience in Accounts / Purchase / Stores / General Admin. / Establishment in a large and reputed organization.
Desirable: Knowledge of GFR, Procurement and Work Procedure as per CPWD. Should have experience in Billing and audit of works contracts.
10. Junior Hindi Translator:
Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
Desirable: Knowledge of typing in Hindi.
MC-CIt or equivalent course.

11. Tradesman (B) [Machinist]:

National Trade Certificate with an aggregate of 60% marks awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training in Machinist (Miller) trade. Two years of experience in relevant field. (or)
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by the (with an aggregate of 60% marks) National Council of Vocational Training in Machinist (Miller) trade.

12. Tradesman (B) [Glass Blower / Fitter]:

National Trade Certificate with an aggregate of 60% marks awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training in Glass Blowing / Fitter trade. Two years of experience in relevant field. (or)
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by the (with an aggregate of 60% marks) National Council of Vocational Training in Glass Blowing / Fitter trade.

13. Tradesman (B) [Turner]:

National Trade Certificate with an aggregate of 60% marks awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training in Turner trade. Two years of experience in relevant field. (or)
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by the (with an aggregate of 60% marks) National Council of Vocational Training in Turner trade.
14. Tradesman (B) [Electrician]:
National Trade Certificate with an aggregate of 60% marks awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training in Electrical Trade. Two years of experience in relevant field. (or)
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by the (with an aggregate of 60% marks) National Council of Vocational Training in Electrical Trade.
15. Tradesman (B) [Central Air Conditioning Plant Machine]:
National Trade Certificate with an aggregate of 60% marks awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade. Two years of experience in relevant field. (or)
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by the (with an aggregate of 60% marks) National Council of Vocational Training in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration trade.

TIFR Recruitment 2024 Notification:

16. Tradesman (B) [Carpenter]:
National Trade Certificate with an aggregate of 60% marks awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training in Carpenter trade. Two years of experience in relevant field. (or)
National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) awarded by the (with an aggregate of 60% marks) National Council of Vocational Training in Carpenter trade.

17. Clerk (A):

Graduate from a recognized university/institution with an aggregate of 50% marks. Knowledge of typing. Knowledge of computers and applications – supported by certificates from government-recognized institutions.
A minimum of 01 year experience in clerical duties and correspondence in a large and reputed organization.
Desirable: Candidate should have experience in Establishment / Accounts / General Administration / Purchase / Stores works. Expert knowledge of MS Office. Possess basic knowledge of Government rules and regulations related to Establishment and service matters. Drafting skills in English are highly preferable.

18. Cook (B):

SSC or equivalent (Central/State Board Examinations).
A minimum of 03 years of experience in the relevant field.
A Certificate course in Cooking from a recognized Institute (minimum of six months course).
Desirable: Graduate in any field with a Craft course in Food Production and Patisserie of at least one year from a reputed Catering college. Three years of work experience in a reputed 5-star Hotel as a Cook/Commis.
