Southern Railway Recruitment Notification Educational Qualification Details.

Minimum Academic / Technical Qualification – Freshers category:

Qualification
Fitter: Should have passed 10^th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) uner 10+2 system of education
Welder (Gas & Electric): Should have passed 10^th Class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system of education
Medical Laboratory Technicians: Passed 12^th class examination under the 10+2 system of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks)

EX-Category Qualification:

Minimum Academic / Technical Qualification – Ex.ITI category:

Qualification
Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Mechanic – Motor Vehicle: Should have passed 10^th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 System of education and passed ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI & should possess Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training in their relevant trade.
Welder, (Gas & Electric), Carpenter, Plumber, Mechanic – Machine Tool Maintenance, Mechanic – Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Mechanic – Diesel Electronics Mechanic, Painter (General): Should have passed 10^th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 System of education and passed ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI & should possess Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training in their relevant trade.
Wireman: Should have passed 10^th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under 10+2 system of education and passed ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI & should possess Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training in the Trades of Wiremen and Electrician.
Programming and Systems Administration Assistant (PASAA): Should have passed 10^th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system of education and should possess a National Trade Certificate issued by the National Council for Vocational Training in “Computer Operator and Programming Assistant” (COPA).

Qualification:

Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance (ICTSM): Should have passed 10^th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system of education and passed ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI & should possess Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training in the Trades of:
1. Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance.
2. Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance.
3. Broad Based Basic Training in Information Technology Sector under Centre of Excellence Scheme and Advanced module of Centre of Excellence Scheme in Repair and Maintenance of Hardware of Computer and Peripherals.

Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): Should have passed 10^th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 System of education and passed ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI & should possess Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training in their relevant trade.

Advanced Welder: Should have passed 10^th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 System of education and passed ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI & should possess Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training in the trades of:
1. Broad-Based Basic Training in the Production and Manufacturing Sector under the Centre of Excellence Scheme and Advanced module of the Centre of Excellence Scheme in Advance Welding.
2. Welder.

SSA (Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant): Should have passed 10^th class (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 System of education and passed ITI course in the relevant trade in Government recognized ITI & should possess Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training in the trades of:
1. Stenography (English).
2. Secretarial Practice.

Southern Railway Recruitment Salary Details:-

The stipend will be paid as per the directions of the Railway Board.

Southern Railway Recruitment Age Limit Details:

Southern Railway Recruitment:

The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 22/24 years for Freshers/Ex-ITI, MLT Respectively.
The upper age is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for Persons with Disability (PwBD).

Fee Details for Southern Railway Notification 2024:-

A processing fee of Rs.100/- + service charges as applicable is to be paid through online mode.
No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
