SERC Chennai Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification:
I. Junior Research Fellow:
| B.E / B.Tech. (Civil Engineering) or its equivalent with GATE qualification. Desirable: M.E. / M.Tech. in Structural Engineering / Construction Management. Knowing in one or more of the following: i) C&D waster utilization for circular economy and sustainability. ii) C&D waste handling, existing policies, best practices, etc. Job Description: C&D waste management, treatment and utilization of recycled aggregate for construction. |
2. Project Assistant:
| 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering or Technology or its equivalent. Job Description: i) Material procurement/collection. ii) Casting of concrete specimens. iii) Assistance in test set-up/arrangement |
Educational Qualification:
3. Project Associate-I
| B.E. / B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from a recognized university or equivalent. Valid GATE score. Desirable: B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil or Structural Engineering with first class from a recognized university or equivalent with a GATE score. Job Description: i) Casting/testing of concrete/planning of experiments. ii) Data processing/interpretation. iii) Assistance in test set-up/arrangement |
4. Project Associate II:
| B.E. / B.Tech. Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university/institution or equivalent and Two years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organizations and scientific activities and services. Desirable: M.E. / M.Tech. / MS in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university/institution or equivalent with first class in the graduate degree. |

Candidates should attend the walk-in interview with a fully filled-in application form with self-attested photocopies of requisite certificates/documents (viz. Date of Birth Certificate, 10th certificate or equivalent certificate, 12th or equivalent certificate, Graduation certificate, experience proof (if applicable) along with an original certificate for verification, a photo ID proof like an Aadhaar card, Voter ID card or any other photo ID card issued by any Government Agency and one passport size colour photograph.
