NPCIL Kalpakkam Recruitment 2023. Educational Qualification:
1. Stipendiary Trainees / Technician – B Cat – II
i) Plant Operator:
HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science Stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Should have had English as one of the subjects at least at the SSC level examination.
ii) Fitter:
SSC with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Fitter trade.
Should have had English as one of the subjects at least at the SSC level examination.
A combination of other subjects/disciplines along with the core disciplines/subjects indicated above will also be considered.
iii) Instrumentation / Electronics:
SSC with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Industrial Electronics / Electronics / Instrumentation / Information Technology and Electronics system maintenance / Power electronics systems / Instrument mechanic in power plant.
Should have had English as one of the subjects at least at the SSC level examination.
A combination of other subjects/disciplines along with the core disciplines/subjects indicated above will also be considered.
iv) Electrician:
SSC with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Electrician trade or ITI in Electrician-Power distribution.
Should have had English as one of the subjects at least at the SSC level examination.
A combination of other subjects/disciplines along with the core disciplines/subjects indicated above will also be considered.
v) Plumber:
SSC with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Plumber.

Qualifications:
vi) Welder:
SSC with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Welder
Should have had English as one of the subjects at least at the SSC level examination.
A combination of other subjects/disciplines along with the core disciplines/subjects indicated above will also be considered.
vii) Carpenter:
SSC with a minimum of 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Carpenter.
Should have had English as one of the subjects at least at the SSC level examination.
A combination of other subjects/disciplines along with the core disciplines/subjects indicated above will also be considered.
2. Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant – B Cat-I.
i) Physics / Chemistry:
B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics and Computer Science as subsidiary.
Or
Chemistry is the principal and Physics / Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.
Mathematics at HSC (10+2) level is essential.
Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC/SSLC or HSC level examinations.
A combination of other subjects/disciplines along with the core disciplines/subjects indicated above will also be considered.
Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject in B.Sc. are not eligible.
Qualifications:

Diploma with not less than 60% marks in
- Mechanical Engineering

Candidates with a Diploma through lateral entry to 2nd year Diploma after 10th (SSC) + ITI shall not be eligible.
Candidate should have 4 years of work experience after obtaining the requisite qualifications.
NPCIL Recruitment Qualification
4. Assistant Grade – I (HR/F&A/CMM):
Any Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university/institution.
Essential requirements for skill test:
- Typewriting Test.
- A speed of 30 wpm in English typing on PC.
- Computer Proficiency Test.
- Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS-Windows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint), e-mail management and Internet Surfing.
