NIOT Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification:-

According to the NALCO Recruitment Notification 2024, Educational Qualifications are as follows:

1. Technician Gr. A (Electronics / Instrumentation):

• Essential: 10th class pass (Secondary / Matric) of a recognized Board and ITI course in Electronics / Instrumentation approved by the National Council for Vocational Training or equivalent from a recognized institution. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Experience of two years in the relevant field to the job requirements.

2. Technician Gr. A (Welder):

• Essential: 10th class pass (Secondary / Matric) of a recognized Board and ITI course in Electronics / Instrumentation approved by the National Council for Vocational Training or equivalent from a recognized institution. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Experience of two years in the relevant field to the job requirements.

3. Technician Gr. A (Mechanical):

• Essential: 10th class pass (Secondary / Matric) of a recognized Board and ITI course in Electronics / Instrumentation approved by the National Council for Vocational Training or equivalent from a recognized institution. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Experience of two years in the relevant field to the job requirements.

4. Technician Gr. A Fitter (Mechanical):

• Essential: 10th class pass (Secondary / Matric) of a recognized Board and ITI course in Electronics / Instrumentation approved by the National Council for Vocational Training or equivalent from a recognized institution. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Experience of two years in the relevant field to the job requirements.

5. Scientific Assistant (Mechanical):

• Essential: Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board or University. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Not less than 2 years of experience in handling fabrication assembly and testing mechanical systems for sub-sea or surface applications, quality control management for such systems or operation and maintenance, dry docking or execution of projects in the area of ocean technology and engineering.

6. Scientific Assistant (Electrical):

• Essential: Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board or University. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Not less than 2 years of experience in Assembly, Integration and testing of drives, transformers, motors, and switch gears pertinent to subsea / process / heavy industry.

7. Scientific Assistant (ECE);

• Essential: Three years of Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication Engineering (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board or University. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Not less than 2 years experience relating to design, preparation of P&ID, specifications, procurement, installation, commissioning and monitoring of the overall electronics, instrumentation and control systems of the project.

8. Scientific Assistant (Life Sciences):

• Essential: First class B.Sc. Degree in Zoology (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board or University. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Not less than 2 years of research experience in an R&D laboratory.

9. Scientific Assistant – Gr. B / Technical Officer (Mechanical):

• Essential: Three years of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board or University. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Not less than 3 years of experience in drafting/fabrication/assembly & integration/maintenance of mechanical systems in marine/process/heavy industry.

10. Scientific Assistant – Gr. B / Technical Officer (Electrical):

• Essential: Three years of Diploma in Electrical Engineering (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board or University. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Not less than 3 years experience in the areas of operation/maintenance of large electrical power systems for onshore installations/ships/offshore platforms and/or subsea applications, viz. underwater vessels/systems/vehicles.
• Experience in integration/assembly/testing/operation and maintenance of marine and subsea medium voltage electrical systems, power transmission systems, motor controllers, and medium voltage high-frequency systems.

11. Scientific Assistant – Gr. B / Technical Officer (ECE):

• Essential: Three years of Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation (with 60% marks) or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board or University. Basic knowledge of computers.
• Desirable: Not less than 3 years of experience in the areas of marine electronics, data acquisition, underwater acoustics systems integration and testing.
• Fibre optic splicing/preparation and effecting connectors and maintenance of FO communication equipment & systems.
• Testing and calibration of underwater sensors and transducers, testing and repairing of PCB board.
• Knowledge of the use of electrical CAD.
