NHPC Recruitment Notification Educational Qualification Details.

1. Trainee Engineer – Civil:

• Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• 2. Trainee Engineer – Mechanical:
• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Mechanical Discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Mechanical Discipline Includes – Mechanical / Production / Thermal / Mechanical & Automation Engineering.

3. Trainee Engineer – Electrical:

• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Electrical Discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Electrical Discipline Includes: – Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Power System & High Voltage / Power Engineering.

4. Trainee Engineer – E&C:

• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Electrical & Communication Discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Electronics & Communication Discipline Includes:- Electronics & Communication / Electronics / Electronics & Tele-communication / Electronics & Power / Power Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control.

5. Trainee Engineer / Officer (IT):

• Full-time regular Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in Information Technology discipline including Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Or
• Master’s in Computer Application (MCA) from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade or AMIE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.

6. Trainee Officer – Geology:

• Full-time regular M.Sc. (Geology) / M.Tech. in Applied Geology (should have studied Geology with Maths or Physics at graduation level) from a recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or equivalent grade in a Master’s degree.

7. Trainee Engineer / Officer:

• Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech. (Environmental Engineering) / M.Sc. (Environmental Engineering) from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in a Master’s degree.

Fee Details for NHPC Recruitment Notification:-

As per the NHPC Recruitment Notification:

• Candidates belonging to the UR / EWS / OBC (NCL) category are to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹.708/- (including tax).
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

NHPC Selection Process:-

As per the NHPC Recruitment notification:

• The Selection Process consists of normalized marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023, Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
• GATE 2023 marks (out of 100) – 75%.
• A combined score of Group Discussion and Personal Interview – 25%.
