NDRI Recruitment 2024: The National Dairy Research Institute (ICAR-NDRI) has released an official notification for filling the Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow, Project Research Scientist-I, Senior Project Assistant, Young Professional I and II, Field Assistant and Office Assistant positions. As per the NDRI Recruitment 2024 Notification, eligible, willing candidates can attend the interviews on 20.06.2024, 21.06.2024, 25.06.2024, 26.06.2024, 27.06.2024 and 01.07.2024. NDRI Recruitment Notification Educational Qualification Details.

1. Young Professional – II:

• Essential Qualification: Post-graduate Degree in Computer Science / Dairy Science / Life Science from a recognized university.
• Desirable: Minimum one year of experience in any Government / Private Organization or relevant field. Knowledge of IT Applications, Virtual meeting platforms & computer skills (MS Office) is preferred.

2. Office Assistant:

• Essential Qualification: Graduate from Science stream (with a combination of any subject such as Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics / Computer Application / Computer Science from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.

3. Senior Research Fellow:

• Essential Qualification: Post-graduate degree in any one of the following disciplines:- Dairy Economics / Livestock Economics / Agricultural Economics / Economics / Agri. Extension / Veterinary Extension / Dairy Extension / Agribusiness Management / LPM / Agronomy / Animal Nutrition / Animal Breeding / Dairy Technology / Veterinary Science / Humanity / Life Science / any branch of Agricultural Sciences from a recognized university with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a Post-graduate degree in the above discipline in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
• Desirable Qualifications:- Good knowledge / Proficiency in computer applications particularly the use of MS Office and SPSS / SAS.
• Field experience in Agricultural & Social Sciences. Proficiency in data collection and Analysis.

4. Field Assistant:

• Essential Qualification; Graduate / Post-graduate in any one of the disciplines of Agriculture Science / Life Sciences / Commerce / Computer Application / Humanity.
• Desirable Qualification: Good knowledge / Proficiency in computer application. Experience of working with farmers field.

5. Young Professional-I:

• Essential Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Electric Engineering.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of Computers in MS Office and design software CAD/CAM etc. with a minimum of one year of experience in any Government or Private Organization.

6. Senior Research Fellow:

• Essential Qualification: Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences, Environmental Sciences with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualifications or Post-graduate Degree in Professional course with special reference to Animal Nutrition / Biotech / Microbiology and Food Processing & Engineering with two years of research experience.
• Desirable Qualification: Work experience in Rumen Biotechnology / Microbiology and capable of animal handling, Blood / Rumen liquor collection and publication in the relevant field.

7. Senior Research Fellow:

• Essential Qualification: Post-graduate degree in any one of the following disciplines: Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Bioinformatics / Physiology / Zoology with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having a post-graduate degree in Basic Science with 03 years of Bachelor’s degree and 02 years of Master’s degree in the above discipline should have UGC / CSIR / ICAR-NET / GATE or equivalent and 02 years of research experience.

• Desirable Qualification:- Preference will be given to the candidate(s) having research experience in mammalian cell culture, somatic cell cloning and application of various software tools related to NGS data analysis etc.

8. Junior Research Fellow:

• Post-graduate degree in any one of the following disciplines:- Agronomy / Soil Science / Environmental Science / Remote Sensing / Agriculture Meteorology / Meteorology / Computer Science / Agricultural Statistics / Statistics with NET qualified (CSIR / UGC / ICAR. etc.) including lectureship / Assistant Professorship / GATE qualification. (or)
• Graduate / Post-graduate degree in professional course in any one of the above disciplines with NET / GATE qualification.
• Desirable qualification: Experience in the area of agriculture along with hands-on knowledge of soil and plant analysis, remote sensing, meteorology, practical experience in handling climate data, agriculture data, big data analysis using SAS / R / SPSS, Machine learning etc. Proficiency in the use of computer applications.

9. Project Research Scientist-I:

• Essential Qualification: First-class integrated PG degrees in Dairy Microbiology / Food Microbiology / FSQA / Agricultural Microbiology / General Microbiology / General Microbiology / Life Sciences with specialization in Microbiology.
• Second-class Post-graduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with PhD in Dairy Microbiology / Food Microbiology / FSQA / Agricultural Microbiology / General Microbiology / General Microbiology / Life Sciences with specialization in Microbiology.
• Desirable qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the laboratory, development of a biosensor and analysis of dairy and non-dairy foods for microbiological quality parameters etc. Good knowledge of Antimicrobial resistance, bacterial zoonotic pathogens, NABL, calibration of equipment, statistics and proficiency in computer Excel will be given preference.

10. Senior Project Assistant:

• Essential Qualification: 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board with 5 years of experience in administrative work or Graduate in any discipline with 2 years of experience in administration work and a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
• Desirable qualification: Candidates having Good knowledge of computers, instrumentation, software, air-conditioning systems, HVAC systems, ERP, and e-office software will be given preference.

11. Young Professional – II:

• Essential qualification: Post-graduate degree in Dairy Microbiology / Food Microbiology / FSQA / Agricultural Microbiology / General Microbiology / Applied Microbiology / Life Sciences with specialization in Microbiology.
• Desirable qualification: One year of experience in the field of food safety and quality assurance and testing of milk and other products for microbiological parameters, AMR, paper strip sensors, nanoparticle preparation, biosensors, etc. Candidates having good knowledge of QMS, FSMS, calibration of equipment, statistics and proficiency in computer applications particularly in the use of MS Office.

12. Young Professional – I:

• Essential qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline with more than 65% marks from a recognized university.
• Desirable qualification: Candidate with two years of experience in handling and managing in animal breeding data.
