NBPGR Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:-

1. Junior Research Fellow:

Essential Qualification:

Postgraduate degree in Basic / Allied Sciences (Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Chemistry / Material Science / Environment Science / Any discipline of Life Sciences) (or) Graduate / Postgraduate degree in Professional Course (Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology / Material Sciences etc.).

(a) Scholars who are selected through the National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE. (b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by the Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, AND NISER etc.

Desirable Qualification:

Candidate with research experience in analytical techniques in Biochemistry / Material Science.

2. Scientific/Administrative Assistant:

Essential Qualification: Graduation in any discipline.
Desirable qualification: Experience in Biochemistry-related analysis, handling instruments, data entry etc.

NBPGR Recruitment Emolument Details:-

Emolument
Junior Research Fellow: Rs.37,000/- Per Month + HRA
Scientific/Administrative Assistant: Rs.18,000/- + HRA

NBPGR Recruitment Age Limit Details:

Age Limit
NBPGR: The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow is 28 years as of the last date of application for the General & EWS category. Age relaxation of up to 05 years (33 years) for SC / ST / Differently abled / Women candidates and up to 3 years (31 years) fro OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
Scientific/Administrative Assistant: is 50 years old as of the last date of application for the General & EWS category. Age relaxation of up to 05 years (33 years) for SC / ST / Differently abled / Women candidates and up to 3 years (31 years) fro OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates.
