Indian Post Office Recruitment Educational qualification details:-
Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant:
- a) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
- b) Knowledge of working on a computer.
Postman / Mail Guard:
- a) 12th standard pass from a recognized board.
- b) Should have passed the local language of the concerned Postal Circle or Division as one of the subjects in 10th standard or above.
- c) Knowledge of working on computers.
- d) Valid license to drive a two-wheeler or Light Motor Vehicle (for the post of Postman only). Persons with Benchmark Disability are exempted from the possession of a license.
Multi Tasking Staff:
- 10th standard pass from a recognized Board.
Age limit details for the job:-

Indian Post Office Recruitment Job Salary Details
- Postal Assistant: The pay level-4 – ₹.25,500 – 81,100/- plus other allowances.
- Sorting Assistant: The pay level-4 – ₹.25,500 – 81,100/- plus other allowances.
- Postman: The pay level-3 – ₹.21,700 – 69,100/- plus other allowances.
- Mail Guard: The pay level-3 – ₹.21,700 – 69,100/- plus other allowances.
- Multi Tasking Staff: The pay level-1 – ₹.18,000 – 56,900/- plus other allowances.
Application Fee and Processing Fee:-
- Fee payable: Rs.100/-.
- Women candidates, Transgender candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/EWS area are exempted from payment of fees.
