1. Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Systems):
- Candidates should have completed either a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics / Mathematics / Computer Science / IT / Computer Applications)
- Experience: 03 – 05 years.
- Essential Skills: Linux / Mac / Windows System administration.
- Knowledge of Computer Architecture, storage and computer networking
- Proficiency in Unix / Linux shell scripts, C++, Python, PHP
- Maintenance of software and hardware infrastructure in large data centres
- Knowledge of web applications, content management
- Knowledge of IT security
- Ability to learn on the job.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function in a team environment
- Knowledge of tender processing and inventory management.
- Desirable skills: Experience in a similar position in a reputed academic institutions
- Work experience in maintaining LINUX / UNIX systems in a LAN environment. Well-versed problem-solving and troubleshooting. Knowledge of database management. Proficiency in programming languages: MySQL., Perl, and Java, in addition to essential skills in C++, PHP, Python, and Unix shell scripting.
- Experience in MPI, and GPU coding.
