IIT Madras Recruitment Educational Qualification:-

1. Lead Engineer / Technical Lead / Senior Technical Lead – RF Power Amplifier (R&D):

IIT Madras Recruitment 2024 Notification Educational Qualification Details.

• Essential Qualification: Doctorate (fresher) or Master’s degree with 5+ years of Industrial Experience in R&D in RF/Microwave engineering in the design of RF power amplifiers.
• Good fundamental knowledge in designing, simulating, and building high-efficiency high-power RF Power Amplifiers using HEMT devices, PCB design, DFMEA and RCA methods.

2. Principal Engineer – Power Conversion (R&D):

• Essential Qualification: A minimum master’s degree with 14+ years of industrial experience in R&D in power conversion.

3. 1. Lead Engineer / Technical Lead / Senior Technical Lead – RF Power Amplifier (R&D):

• Essential Qualification: Doctorate (fresher) or Master’s Degree with 5+ years of industrial experience in R&D in Switched mode power conversion.
• Good fundamental knowledge in Switched mode power conversion to design and develop high-efficiency AC/DC power supplies for 3-phase input, the output power of >5kW along with knowledge of magnetic component design, high-frequency high power PCB layout, Firmware development, DFMEA and RCA methods.

4. Consultant – Power Conversion (R&D):

• Doctorate with 12+ years or master’s degree with 17+ years of industrial experience in R&D in power conversion, embedded hardware and firmware development.
• Hand-on experience in developing high-efficiency AC/DC, and DC/DC power supplies along with knowledge of magnetic component design, high-frequency high-power PCB layout, embedded hardware, firmware development, DFMEA and RCA methods.
• Self-motivated engineer with the ability to make plans to complete activities based on project timelines and requirements.

5. Senior Design Engineer:

• Master’s Degree with 3+ years of industrial experience in R&D in RF/Microwave engineering.
• Hands-on experience in designing and simulating developing RF oscillators/Signal generators, antenna design and matching network circuits for high-frequency applications using ADS and HFSS, strong fundamentals of RF/Microwave, PCB design and RF hardware debugging.

6. Junior Research Fellow:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the field of Engineering.
• Experience Level: 0 to 3 years.
• Requirements: Proficient in MATLAB, and Python, Some experience with Robotic Operating System (ROS) would be preferable.
• Background in Controls, Optimization or Reinforcement Learning.
• Prior experience with simulation in Gazebo for robot simulation is preferable.
