IISC Recruitment Educational Qualification:-

IISC Recruitment Notification Educational Qualification Details.

• Essential Qualification: For HPC System Administration Services (System Engineer-I and System Engineer-II): B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology / EE / ECE / ME / Equivalent / MCA / M.Sc. (CS).
• For Mechanical Infrastructure Management (System Engineer-I): B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/equivalent.
• For Electrical Infrastructure Management (Senior System Engineer-II): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/equivalent.
• Applicants should have secured a First Class as declared by the University.

1. System Engineer – I Experience:

• Only for HPC System Administration Services or for Mechanical Infrastructure Management.
• No work experience is required.
• For HPC System Administration Services: Familiarity with programming and Linux is expected. (or)
• For Mechanical Infrastructure Management: Familiarity with Chillers, AHUs, HVACs etc. will be desirable.

2. System Engineer – II:

• Only for HPC System Administration Services: 02 years of work experience working with Linux systems and familiarity with Programming are required. Work experience in managing Linux systems is desirable.

3. Senior System Engineer – II:

• Only for Electrical Infrastructure Management: 08 years of relevant work experience in Electrical Infrastructure management including some of the following:
• Management of transformers, electrical substations, HT and LT Scada-controlled panels, DGs, UPSes, power distribution components, automation and control, motor controls, and other electrical components. Such relevant experience carried out in data centres is highly desirable.

As per the IISC Recruitment 2024 notification:

• The selection will be based on an online test and an online interview. Only the candidates securing the cut-off marks and above in the test will be called for an interview, which will be conducted subsequently.
