ICMR-NIOH Recruitment Notification Educational Qualification Details.
1. Project Research Scientist – II (None-medical):
- Essential Qualification: First class Post Graduate degree including integrated PG degree in any of the following subjects Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology & related Life science disciplines, with three years experience or Ph.D. in the above-mentioned subject.
- Second class PG degree including integrated PG degree with PhD in the abovementioned subject specialization and three years experience.
- First Class engineering graduate degree of four years in Biotechnology / Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognized University with three years experience.
- Desirable Qualification: Able to perform basic molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, Western blotting and Immunohistochemistry.
- Prior experience in handling various automated biochemical analysis platforms, ELISAs etc.
- Candidates having experience in mouse and rat handling will be preferred. Experience in primary and secondary cell culture, isolation of various immune cell subsets, and immunological assays such as ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, western blotting, etc, is highly desirable.
- Candidates with National level Qualification exams will be preferred,
- Prior Experience in various cell culture techniques.
- Any prior experience in handling sophisticated molecular biology instruments such as Flowcytometry, ELISPOT readers etc
