ICAR-IARI Recruitment Notification Educational Qualification Details.

1. Senior Research Fellow:

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Biotechnology / Plant Physiology / Plant Biochemistry / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Botany / any relevant discipline of Life Sciences with desirable experience with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree.
Candidates having post-qualification degrees in Basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET / GATE qualifications and 2 years of research experience.
Desirable: Experience in basic molecular techniques (nucleic and isolation, PCR, plasmid isolation, restriction, ligation, molecular marker etc.), molecular cloning and recombinant vector development, genetic transformation of crops (rice, mustard, millets), development and analysis of transgenic plants, genome editing of plants, plant tissue culture, scientific writing; as evident from publications.

2. Young Professional – II:

Essential Qualification: Postgraduates in Biotechnology / Plant Physiology / Plant Biochemistry / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Botany / any relevant discipline of Life Sciences. (or)
Graduate degree holders in relevant Agricultural Sciences / Engineering / Technology.
Desirable: Experience in basic molecular techniques (nucleic and isolation, PCR, plasmid isolation, restriction, ligation, molecular marker etc.), molecular cloning and recombinant vector development, genetic transformation of crops (rice, mustard, millets), development and analysis of transgenic plants, genome editing of plants, plant tissue culture, scientific writing; as evident from publications.

ICAR-IARI Recruitment Salary Details:-
