ICAR-CPRI Recruitment Notification Educational Qualification Details.
1. Junior Research Fellow:
- Essential Qualification: Post-graduate in Plant Breeding, Genetics, Plant Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Molecular Breeding / Computational Biology / Bioinformatics a related field of Agricultural Sciences i.e. Plant Pathology / Plant Physiology / Crop Physiology / Horticulture / Vegetable Science and must have qualified ICAR-NET or CSIR UGE-NET or similar examination conducted by the Central Government department and their agencies and Institutions like DST, DAE, DBT, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICME, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.,
- Desirable qualification: Must have prior experience in SNP genotyping / Genomic Selection / Genome editing / Functional genomics. Can independently handle the project work, interpret results, prepare reports and write manuscripts.
2. Young Professional – I:
- Essential qualification: B.Com / BBA / BBS (with 60% marks) from a recognized university / College (with a minimum of 01-year of experience in a relevant field).
- Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of IT applications, virtual meeting platforms and computer skills (MS Office and Tally etc)
