CPRI Recruitment Educational Qualification:-

1. Research Associate:

• Doctoral Degree in Biotechnology / Plant Molecular Biology / Plant Biochemistry / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Molecular Breeding / Life Sciences / Bioinformatics from a recognized institute/university.
• Or
• With Master’s Degree holders: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having first division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least three years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements.

Desirable Qualification:

• Experience in genome editing/genetic transformation of plants. Or
• Experience in gene cloning and expression analysis. Or
• Experience in structural and Functional genomics. Or
• Experience in plant tissue culture/Protoplast isolation and handling.

2. Senior Research Fellow:

• Master’s Degree in Biotechnology / Plant Molecular Biology / Plant Biochemistry / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Molecular Breeding / Life Sciences / Bioinformatics from a recognized institute/university with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. Or
• Candidates having post-graduate degrees in Basic Sciences with 03 years of Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of Master’s degree should have NET qualification and 02 years of research experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in genome editing/genetic transformation plants. Or
• Experience in gene cloning and expression analysis.
• Experience in structural and Functional genomics. Or
• Experience in plant tissue culture/protoplast isolation and handling.

CPRI Age Limit Details:

Research Associate:

• 40 years for men and 45 years for women.
• 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
