1. Junior Research Fellow – Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering:
- B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering in first division with valid NET / GATE qualification. (or) M.E. / M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering in first division both at a Graduate and Postgraduate level.
- 2. Junior Research Fellow – Computer Science and Engineering:
- B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Science in first division with valid NET / GATE qualification. (or) M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science both at a Graduate and Postgraduate level.
3. Junior Research Fellow – Chemical Engg / Rubber Technology / Polymer Technology / Nanotechnology / Material Science:
- B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical Engg / Ruber Technology / Polymer Technology / Nanotechnology / Materials Science in first division with valid NET / GATE qualification. (or) M.E. / M.Tech.Chemical Engg / Ruber Technology / Polymer Technology / Nanotechnology / Materials Science in first division both at a Graduate and Postgraduate level.

4. Junior Research Fellow – Oceanography / Ocean Technology Meteorology:
- Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science pertaining to the subject/discipline in first division with valid NET / GATE qualification. (or) M.E. / M.Tech.Oceanography / Ocean Technology / Meteorology in first division both at a Graduate and Postgraduate level.
5. Junior Research Fellow – Mechanical Engineering:
- B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engg in first division with valid NET / GATE qualification. (or) M.E. / M.Tech.Mechanical Engg in first division both at a Graduate and Postgraduate level.
6. Junior Research Fellow – Opto Electronics:
