BSF Recruitment Educational Qualification:-
BSF Recruitment 2024 Notification Educational Qualification Details.
1. SI (Master):
- 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board or University, and 2nd class Master Certificate issued by the Central / State Inland Water Transport Authority / Mercantile Marine Department.
2. SI (Engine Driver):
- 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board or University, and 1st class Engine Driver Certificate issued by the Central / State Inland Water Transport Authority / Mercantile Marine Department.
3. HC (Master):
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Serang Certificate.
4. HC (Engine Driver):
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and Possessing 2nd class Engine Driver Certificate.
5. HC (Workshop):
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and
- Industrial Training Institute Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol Engine), Electrician, AC Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpentry & Plumbing for the post of HC (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol Engine), HC (Workshop) Electrician, HC (Workshop) AC Technician, HC (Workshop) Electronics, HC (Workshop) Machinist, HC (Workshop) Carpenter and HC (Workshop) Plumber from a recognized Institution respectively.
6. Constable (Crew):
- Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and
- One year of experience in the operation of the Boat below 265 HP.
- Should know how to swim in deep water without any assistance.

- For Group ‘C’ posts – ₹.100/-
- SC / ST / Departmental candidates / Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
