1. Project Engineer-I (TSCSK – TSCSM):
- 4 years full-time B.E./B.Tech in a discipline of Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
2. Project Engineer-I (SSI):
- 4 years full-time B.E./B.Tech in a discipline of Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering / Communication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
3. Project Engineer-I (SM):
- B.E./B.Tech in a discipline of Electronics & Communication / Electronics / Telecommunication /Communication Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication.
4. Trainee Engineer-I (TSCSK – TSCSM):
- 4 years full-time B.E./B.Tech. in a discipline of Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

As per BEL Recruitment 2024 Notification, Salary details are given below:

BEL Recruitment Age Limit Details:
BEL Recruitment 2024 Notification:
- 32 years for Project Engineers and 28 years for Trainee Engineers as of 01.03.2024.
- The above-mentioned upper age limit is for General and EWS candidates. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates, 05 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PwBD candidates (having a minimum of 40% disability, in addition to the relaxation applicable to OBC (NCL) / SC / ST candidates).
Fee Details for BEL Recruitment Notification:-
As per the BEL Recruitment Notification:
- Project Engineer-I – ₹.472/- (including GST).
- Trainee Engineer-I – ₹.177/- (including GST).
BEL Selection Process:-
As per the BEL Recruitment 2024 notification:
- Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement will be called for a Written Test which will be for 85 marks.
- Candidates who pass the written test will be called for an Interview based on their merit and vacancies in the ratio of 1:5. 15 marks will be allotted for an Interview.
- The minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test and Interview is 35% for General / EWS / OBC and 30% for SC / ST / PwBD.
